Speedometer needle issue, off by +30mph
I purchased a 2018 C43 last month. I took it for a drive yesterday and the speedometer needle was at ~28mph when not moving. The digital speedometer in the middle would show correctly at 0. As I accelerate, the digital would go up as normal but the needle would move from 28mph as the starting point. I turned it off and turned it back on and when the speed and rpm needle cycle forward then back, it would go from 28mph, past 180mph to 3/4 full tank reading then back to 28mph. I figured maybe needle hardware physically shifted up. After parking it for a few hours I guess it reset and went back down to 0 as normal.
Curious if this is just a sensor issue caused by low temps here in New England. The car is still under warranty and unless it happens again and I go straight to the dealer to show them the issue, I'm not sure if threw any kind of code that the dealer could see evidence of. Has anyone experienced this?
