Porterfield r4s pads reviews

I know these pads get great reviews for stopping power and low dust but how hard are they on rotors, especially stock ones?

Haven’t tried poterfiled pads, but I’ve got EBC red stuff pads and they’re fantastic. Virtually no dust, great stopping power and they seem to be fine with stock rotors.

I have the porter fields replaced the stock pads around 36k and now I’m at 39 so little over 3000 miles on it, I think the stopping power is just about the same as stock pads(stock pads were good) but less dust for sure, didn’t need any thing special to replace everything was just install and go

I have Porterfield R4S brakes pads on my car for 20K miles (odo is 62K now). I installed the pads myself and applied Permatex Ultra Disc Brake Caliper Lube and CRC Disc Brake Quiet. Never had any squeaks or noise from day one. Brake dust is still there but a lot less (75%) than OEM pads. I'm OCD when it comes to brake dust so I really love these pads. Stopping power same as OEM. R4S is more expensive but they last much longer and bedding not required.

Are there any recommended aftermarket rotors or should I just stay with stock?
