CarPlay not showing up .... yeesh
CarPlay has disappeared. I already Googled it and ran down all the lists how to fix......
I am using an Apple wire. I've tried two Apple wires...which work elsewhere.
siri is activated
I have reset the iphone, running most recent SW.
I have reset the car, which was a PIA as I had to rebuild the favorites menu.
I reset all bluetooth, which will cheeze off the rest of the fam when they use the car.
When I plug in the iphone, it comes up as iPod on the benz screen, and music plays normally via the wire.
Bluetooth works for music and telephone.
Phone charges normally.
CarPlay does not appear at the top of the menu as before.
The iPhone does not see CarPlay under General, so I can't remove the profile and start over.
Any ideas ? At 50k I think I'd have to pay the Stealer for this, even with factory extended warranty.

Something wrong with your phone if you can't see General|CarPlay. The CarPlay settings should always be there on your phone even if you are not connected. If it doesn't show up then something is borked on your phone.

- If your iPhone isn't detected by CarPlay, make sure that CarPlay isn't restricted. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions, tap Allowed Apps and make sure that CarPlay is enabled.
