Mercedes-Benz Prepaid Maintenance Coverage
Hi everyone,
For those of you who get your vehicles serviced at the dealership, I'm curious what your thoughts are on the Mercedes-Benz Prepaid Maintenance Coverage for the 2021 AMG C43. When I had an Audi S4 several years ago, I selected the prepaid maintenance plan because I calculated it was cheaper than paying for the service appointments individually. I plan to try to track down the costs to do the same comparison this time around, and I'm curious whether others have purchased the coverage.

2021 AMG C43 Service Costs
Service appointment required every 12 mo / 10,000 mi
Option 1: Out-of-pocket (excluding taxes + shop fees)
Service #1: $335
Service #2: $675
Service #3: $535
Service #4: $875.
Total: $2,420
Option 2: Prepaid (including taxes + shop fees)
Total: $2,495

I purchased the prepaid maintenance package for my 2020 C43 when I purchased it in May 2020. I usually keep my car around 5 to 6 years, and I am a girl with my own limitation so DIY is not for me. I got the 4 years/40,000 miles package for $2250. It looks like price for 2021 has increased a little bit.

In Canada, all the service A B are oil changes at different random prices for $500+ per. 2 year brake fluid changes are recommended by the manual but isn't included with prepaid maintenance plan.
So, it might be cheaper to pay just for an oil change individually every year at jack up price of $200 at the dealer.
