H&R springs compressed?

Hey,

I installed a set of h&r sport lowering springs on my 16 c450. The springs had about a week to settle before my alignment and that’s when I noticed my rear springs were nearly compressed(see image).
Although, you would expect to have a harsh and bouncy ride with such compressed rear springs. Luckily for me the ride is pretty good and slightly feels better than stock springs.

my question is, is the compression of springs normal or just shot? Any help would be great! Thanks in advance!

Looks awesome! I am also getting the same springs as you. I believe they are $220 ish on vivid racing. 1.5-1.7 inch lowering. Let me know if you find an answer to your question.

That’s normal. You probably didn’t notice that they were like that when you installed them. H&R uses dead coils on many of their applications.

The compressed spring is actually correct! The ride quality was not affected.
