Facelift Exhaust Tip Swap

I am attempting to swap out my exhaust tips on a 2019 c43. I have ordered aftermarket round black tips instead of the chrome ones now. Can I get the tips out without removing the rear diffuser? If so, how would I be able to do that with the clips restricting any movement at the top of the piece?

Find someone with small hands or remove the whole bumper for easier access to defuser/tips

I had the facelift round tips and diffuser fitted to my pre-facelift coupe
You have to remove the bumper because the exhaust tips lay in/ are bolted to the circled plastic cradles which are then attached to the inside of the bumper.

Hi, did you have any luck getting this done? I'm trying to do the exact same thing - just swap out the chrome tips for black ones. Did you end up removing the bumper and/or plastic bracket that they're attached to? I'd like to avoid drilling out the rivets that hold the plastic bracket if possible.

Cheers,

Yeah, ended up removing the rear bumper to do it. It isn't too difficult and there's youtube videos out there that explain how to do it. However, the black tips I purchased from ebay didn't fit flush so I had to do some trimming to get it right

Hi, thanks for the quick reply! Okay, I'll check out the video on bumper removal and see if I can get it sorted. I bought my tips off of Amazon, so I imagine I better be prepared to do some trimming also!

Cheers!
