2019+ C43 exhaust tips on 2018 C43

Hi All,
My first C43 sedan and my first post. I tried searching but came up empty.

I just bought a 2018 C43 and really want to change the rear diffuser and exhaust tips to the 2019+ version with the round tips. I know it is a popular mod to change to the C63 one but I don't like that on a C43. I have a couple of questions:

1. Will the 2019 C43 rear diffuser with the round tips fit on a 2018 without issues? If yes, Can I do it myself (I am handy but not a mechanic).

2. Does anyone here happen to own a 2019+ sedan and want to change theirs to the C63? Maybe we can help each other out if you are in Canada. I am in Toronto.

Thanks

Installing the facelift rear diffuser is definitely possible and pretty easy.If you can change the brakes on your car you can do this no problem. I have a 2018 coupe so it might be slightly different but it’s only a few 10mm bolts and a few metal rivets you need to drill out.. the rest of the diffuser is held on by clips that you can pry by hand.. the only modification/fabrication I had to do was on the new diffuser there was a few clips that didn’t clip anywhere so I had to cut the clips and sand it down a bit.

Old tips

How it looks with rear diffuser off

New diffuser installed

Thanks for taking the time to reply and post your pics. I really appreciate it. Looks amazing! So much better than the original in my opinion.

Did you buy your new tips and Dif from the dealer or aftermarket? If you could share a link if it was aftermarket, I would appreciate it. there are so many out there that I am afraid to go with one random one (would rather buy from someone that someone else is happy with).

Many thanks again!!

Yeah I agree the facelift diffuser looks way better that’s why I had to get this lol. The company I ordered this from was CKS performance. A quick search on google should lead you to them.I ordered the OEM version so I guess I technically got my parts from a dealership. They offer an aftermarket/replica version of the diffuser which is $400-$500 cheaper than the OEM. I personally think you should get the aftermarket version and use the extra $400 toward another mod. If you’re worried about quality or fitment issues like I was then maybe go with the OEM version. Hope this helped.

Yeah I'd recommend this to anyone with a pre-facelift model. Transforms the rear end of the car for sure, gives it that sporty look.
