Wheel Nut Lock

Apologies if this falls into the silly thread category. I've searched everywhere for the answer and cant find it.

I have a 2016 C43 with standard 19 inch wheels. I'm taking it to the tyre shop tomorrow to have a slow puncture fixed, plus to have all the wheels balanced as it has an annoying vibration.

Do the wheel nuts need s special nut adaptor to remove, or are they standard nuts ? I couldn't find anything in the boot or glovebox that might indicate it needs a special adaptor for the nuts

PFL205.064 with M276.823 (Oil pump solenoid defeated)
Check to see if your lug nuts on all wheels are the same, if you notice any lock like pattern then you car has wheel locks installed. If it doesn't, chances are your car didn't come with wheel locks. Depending on where you live, some cars have optional wheel locks and if your car didn't come with wheel locks (as in you didn't option them), then the wheel lock key won't be included hence why you don't see it.

Mine came in a small plastic box with 4 spare lugs and the locknut in the center. It was under spare tire and basket.

Are you sure that these are spare lugs and not the lock kit with key?

Well i found that they were just standard nuts. What i did find when i went to the tyre shop to fix a slow leak was that the leak was caused by a cracked wheel.

Thanks, Mercedes Benz Sydney. So much for your 100 point pre sale inspection
