Finally got some passes in . Here are the 3 runs in order. First is stock. Second is map 1. Third is map 2.

Map 0

Map1

Map 2

Thought there'd be bigger gains from map 1 versus map 2. Only a 2mph increase. However shaving off .5 seconds and gaining 6 mile per hour increase in the quarter mile over stock is still pretty impressive .I'd imagine that's around 70hp gain

Have you upgraded your air intake system or downpipes? I'm wondering if you have not, if that would give you even larger gains from map 1 to map 2, or even going to map 3.

He can't do a downpipe. The JB4 can't accommodate it, and can't fix the CEL. CAI could be done. He's running about 2 or 3 tenths slow for a map 2 though.

Are u saying map 2 should be 2-3 tenths lower based on his map zero, or just the time should be lower?
map 2 should take 7-8 tenths off ur stock time?
thx!!

also remember Im 4300' Altitude. I wasn't aware there is a cold air intake option for the C43. Not a fan of heat soak with the options I've seen so far. The car is a sedan.

Glad to hear you got your JB4 working properly. Love mine, currently Map 6 on 93 octane. Massive difference from stock paired with BMS intakes and Michelin PS4S. No Dragy though contemplating before going full ECU...

The Michelin PS4S seems to be a popular tire. Any particular reason why? I have some Vorsteiner SS07 on the way and haven't decided on the tire yet.

Proven-tested results. As far as my personal preference, I heard about Indy Firehawk 500's, had Hankook's on my W203, Conti's on my AMG before swapping, and the difference in price (when I was shopping) pointed all fingers to PS4S. Running 36PSI cold and feels extremely more satisfying, comfort and grip, no kidding.

Interesting, so no go with downpipes and just JB4? How about catted? Logos website indicates theirs works with JB4 remap, or is it Stage 2 and remap? https://www.logosengineeringmotorworks.com/c450-c43-e43

"re-map using JB4 data log and take advantage of the higher flow for that push you back into your seat thrust around 2500 rpm"

I'd get with Terry at BMS and verify before considering the purchase, especially at that price compared to others; no offense just stating the obvious.

Good suggestion, no offense taken! I’m likely to start with the JB4 as the first mod, then build from there. Thanks.

Understand, Map 6 is purely a custom map. Anyone can run Map 6 with 93 octane, so long as their boost pressure is equivalent to Map 2 or 3. If you go beyond those boost levels, you're not going to be safe at 93 octane.

Have you done a draggy run without the BCM and Map 3? How much of a difference did you notice? My draggy is showing 13.04 @ 109.47 with map 2. I'm in a GLC 43 though and can't launch apparently (2.19s) LOL!!! Nice times!

Being the car is a 2020, I never logged times without BCM. I bought the whole package as recommended by BMS.
13 sec for an SUV is respectable. Find some 94 fuel and crank it to map 3, bet you will see high 12's.
