C43 top speed limits

I have a 19 c43 with top speed 130, I’ve heard that the 20 c43 with 19in wheels is 155.
anyone know this to be true?
can it be changed on the ‘19?

The top speed limiter is a function of the tires the car is ordered with. If ordered with all-season tires, then the top speed limit is lowered to 130 mph due to the lower speed rating of the tires. It's 155 mph if the car is ordered with the summer performance tires. In the past I believe, the C43 could only be ordered with the all-season tires (R02) in NA, but looks like MY20 comes with summer performance tires (R01) if you order one of the 19" wheels. It can't be changed afterwards w/o a tune and if you do, make sure you upgrade your tires.

My Canadian delivery (built in US) pre-facelift 2017 C43 sedan's build sheet shows:
- 606 AMG MULTI-SPOKE WHEELS 19" WITH MIXED TIRES
- R01 SUMMER TIRES
- 56V SPEED- + LOADINDEX 93Y XL+96Y XL
and appears to be limited to a (speedo) speed of about 218 kph (135 mph).

I almost forgot that in some markets you have/had to pay for the higher top speed delimiter. Besides the tires it was tied to the AMG Drivers Package or similar, which also includes an AMG Driving Academy event. In the USA, this has largely been standard, so we get the higher top speeds such as 180 mph in the C63S standard along with a complimentary AMG Driving Academy day. Although, the latter was modified in 2019 and with the C43 it's no longer complimentary. You only get an $800 credit or so. The Germans have a habit of charging extra for the privilege to drive faster, BMW etc. does the same and they all usually include some kind of a driver training day and as a bonus you get the higher top speed.
