Amazing Lenses

In my never-ending fascination with the Multibeam LED, now that they've finally been replaced (deer), and aimed properly, and the correct Euro software reflashed...

I have the lens from the replaced light. I've never seen any sort of lens set up this way...every other lens is a simple fresnel bend, or like most of the round HID lights, a clear ball.

The replacement light was $1900, not including a new LED bank.....

This is amazing...how do they make this lens ? I've messed with lights on almost every car I've had, but these are another level.... This lens is in every multi beam light, the other low beam LEDs vary.

What material (glass or plastic) is the lens made with?

Im pretty sure its plastic....it isn't very heavy and the bracket it is held it is thin plastic....it would be a lot heavier if glass.
