Squeaking noise when turning wheel
Hi All,
This noise is fairly new (about 3 days old), when I turn the steering wheel to right it makes this squeaking noise
https://youtube.com/shorts/C0cr5gd4h_c?feature=share - I’m moving the wheel back and fourth in the video.
I read on here that it might be the control arm or might just need grease applied to the bearing but has anyone encountered this?
info about car: c43 coupe, 37xxx miles, lowered on H&R springs.
thank you in advance!

Yeah most likely one of the lower control arms. I recently replaced mine for the same reason, my passenger side was making the same squeaking noise. I would suggest using a syringe with a needle to put some grease/lubricant in the ball joints. Do one ball joint and then turn the wheel see if the noise goes away. Once the squeak goes away you know which control arm needs replacing. If you don't plan on replacing it after you fix the squeak I recommend some rubber adhesive to cover the tiny hole you'll make with the needle.
