*Sneak Peak* 100% C.E.L free LEM Stealth series downpipes
We had a lot of requests for this, so here we go.
This is our top of the line offering, with a premium 250 cell substrate catalyst section from our partners over at ECCOAT. With a extra heavy wash of precious metals in order to scrub those gases clean, these puppies come with a no Check Engine light guarantee. No spacers needed
downpipes using the same design as the OEM downpipe (available in brushed or with our stealth coating for an extra charge), these are made to be user friendly for install and connect to the intermediary pipe instead of directly to the turbo (we had a lot of requests for this). In comparison to our Monster series these emit 60% less smell, and once the the stainess steel "burns in" will turn a OEM like brown color, closely matching the color of the original downpipe. These bad boys are huge and built like tanks!
Because of these features these cost a bit more than our monster series at @ $1,595 for the set. A prefect match for those who need to pass odb2 inspection or a visual and dont want to deal with a check engine light and have that peace of mind. These are made to order with a 25 day lead time.

This is was a sneak peak and not the full rollout on the site. Email us and we'll send you the invoice and get production started.
These are available now- we just haven't caught up with the marketing content to put on the site yet.

Will these fit a C400? My understanding is the others don’t quite fit up to the C400 without some modification. Thanks!

if purchased, you are free to mount it up and make sure that nothing is rubbing against anything and all clears everything. So long as you dont start it up- if your not happy with the fitment: You can send it back and we'll even cover the shipping back to us and refund you 100%.
We want you to be happy :-)

Thanks for the info, and clarifying picture. Exciting stuff. Look forward to some sound clips at some point too.

its based on the mold for the c43, the flange will mount up on the turbo side and on the exhaust side of things. The bracket may need extending because the brackets connecting it the transmission were made different for the c43 which has the new-er transmission. We had 1 c450 make it work. see pic bracket reference

So with all your fabrication capabilities, you can't make the adapters for the 7 speed cars?
If you need a test car, why not ask the forums?

Thats currently not within our scope for our product line or offering, and the product is primarily for the c43 with the product being able to be adapted for the c400/c450 models. We seen a customer have a exhaust shop mount these on and charged him 40$ to fab up some L-shaped brackets to mount (thats 20$ per side).

I hear ya, but would be nice if it was disclosed that fitment on C400/C450 may not be perfect / must be adapted. Your website advertises the downpipes as perfect fitment for:
- C400
- C450
- C43
- E43
- E400

I agree that the website should mention the fitment for C400/C450's are not a direct fit on the bracket. It was only the passenger side on my C450 which had the problem, drivers side was ok. I recently met another guy with a C450 who told me that he had the same bracket issue with catless dp's made by another company.
Had I known this information beforehand I would have either not purchased the dp's or prepared more in advance so I could make a bracket at home. I didn't really feel like doing that after spending a couple of days trying to make it work with the things laying around in my garage. Additionally, around here 99% of shops refuse downpipe installs for obvious reasons. I also wouldn't pay a shop for any work that I could do myself anyway, especially considering that I'd need to temporarily revert to stock for smog.
If these new 250 cell stealth series pipes do in fact fit without a bracket I would once again be interested - I prefer them as they are CEL free and offer best chance to pass visual smog. They do appear to resemble the stock dp in size and shape so it makes sense that it would work. Pending a second confirmation that the C400/C450's have no need for a custom bracket, and pending that someone buys these monster series dp's that are now collecting dust in my garage.

You folks are right and we revised the description on the site. Sometimes these things escape us, We have had multiple c450 and c400 owners install and all seem to have made it work. The SS are based on the jig for the c43 OEM downpipe, because of the slight variances between the transmission mounting points between the c43 and c450, the bracket will most likely need some type of modification-or extension of the bracket. You will find that almost 100% of the downpipes on the market will be based on the c43 with some tweaking needing to fit the other cars.

do these fit the GLC43? Also - do you have any GLC43 monster pipes in stock???? I have a 2021 GLC43 that I’m dying for catted downpipes, without CEL. MBWORLD loves you guys so I want you!
