I wouldn't trust them personally to tune my car but still interested in what they push out of yours. To the guy who said the JB4 is a gateway, is it really a gateway if it’s basically as fast as a proper tune for less than half the cost? For the top 4 C400’s on dragy 3 are running JB4. We will see what the numbers show.

As for the flashing, for my C32 I had a eurocharged tune from the old owner and I just loaded the file onto my laptop and used their software to plug into the car and load the tune. Not sure of how they do it on the W205’s but when I got MBhouse to code some stuff they used a Remote Desktop to connect to my computer and load their software.

what did u have mbhouse code?

I am however going to go ahead and get the Eurocharged tune, cable and TCU tune. I'd like my car to see an 11 second pass, and I doubt that's possible with only the JB4 and some mods.

I'm keeping the JB4 to handle water methanol duties though.
I got the JB4 in and it’s a day and night difference.

I’m on Michelins pilot sport 4s all seasons and on just map 3 93 octane I spin all 4 wheels in the dry I’m shocked how.

On map 5 E30mix the JB4 app is reading my 0-60 as just 4.150 seconds but I am yet to verify it with a proper drag timer.

I’m impressed with how big of a difference just a JB4 made with no intakes or downpipes (those are coming in a month once I finish some warranty work)

EU will be huge. But anyone who wants to just run jb4 to save their warranty, make sure u know what other mods it will work with

I found EC stage 1 to be a shocking gain. Honestly couldn't believe how much better the car is. I certainly recommend it.

Planning on doing the EC tune soon. Do you guys that have it do oil changes more frequently ? It's an everyday driver, except my wife usually drives it like 14 miles round trip if that. Always in comfort mode. I bang it in sport+ mode. I don't rip it but do like my share of spirited driving when the conditions are right. So basically will I need to change the oil sooner than what the service prompts tell me ?

What's everyone's experience in an everyday normalish driving scenario ?

I take mine to the drag strip regularly, and I just do the factory service when the robot tells me to.

I also did it at a pretty crappy DA on a very humid florida night so I think she has a lot more to offer.
Can you share your map 6 file or parameters? I have asked JB4 for the ability to "clone" a map to a custom map to use as a starting point, but they never replied. The JB4 assumes a C43 engine and caps additional boost because it assumes you're starting at 15-16PSI. Which means with a JB4 Map 5 I can get boost on my E400 to around C43 AMG stock levels, but not beyond. I'd like to basically take a Map 5 and customize the boost limit to a higher value.

Just to follow up with some things.

I was 100% WRONG about my car's traction. It turned out I was losing traction terribly and traction control was KILLING my 60ft times. I was on the factory run flats and they are really awful for drag racing (thanks Captain Obvious).

I got new tires (nothing crazy just Vredestein all season radials), EC stage 1 tune, and the @ModalWorks intake and ran a 12.2 quarter mile on pump gas.

I added 4 gallons of E-85 and used the JB4 to add 1psi from 4.5k rpm to 6250rpm and ran an 11.9 quarter. I tried to add 1.5 psi of boost and ran out of fuel pump.

I'll be going back out to the drag strip this week to see if I can backup that 11.9 pass.
