Summer/winter tire storage
I’ve never had summer/winter tire setup
if I have summer tires on the stock rims and plan to put winter tires on them this year. And I’ll use the summer tires on other rims , should I get them out on now or wait till spring ?
where do u guys store the other set?
special instructions? I’ll check with manufacturer too
thx

You might get a better deal this time of the year, especially if you get them as a package, tires and wheels.
If you want new rims for your summer's and keep the stock rims for the winter's then maybe you can make a deal with the tire dealer to exchange the rims all at the same time.
As for storing them, I swap summer/winter myself, for years all I've done is wash them well, (it's much easier to wash off of the car
) and letting them completely dry before putting them in those tire bags that the tires store give away.
I just store them in my garage stacked on a couple 2x4's to keep them off the concrete. Never had an issue.

Nope, the garage is un-heated, un-insulated, it gets well below freezing sometimes, but usually a few degrees warmer that outside.
