Yes. I told you to come here. You won't be disappointed with the car, just make sure to budget around it.
I’m probably overthinking buying one. I overthink everything. Thanks for telling me about this forum. I’ve read a few posts and have learned quite a lot
I was trying to decide between a pre owned c63 and c43 and went with the c43 for a few reasons. Purchase cost of the vehicles for me were irrelevant as my concern was cost to keep it running and I think the C43 will be less in the long run compared to the C63. MB has made that V6 for a long time and having it in a GLK that I had and my recently traded SLK I knew the engine was pretty reliable down the road. I had a c350 sport several years back and again that V6 did not cause any issues for me. So I figured by slapping a few turbos on it should not be that bad for the reliability department where as the C63 has had a few issues with various parts of its V8. . Any other maintenance issue or cost are going to be more because it is a MB and has AMG on it. I ended up with a 2017 Selenite Gray with Red/Black interior with around 34k on it. Car looked to have been well taken care of, not abused, not modified and in excellent mechanical and appearance condition. I've had it almost a month and even though it is not my daily I love getting behind the wheel of it. It's quick when you want it and subtle when you want just drive normal and goes beast mode in sport + mode. It is truly a great all round car and I find myself driving it more than I had intended. I also purchased a extended warranty for the just in case something breaks I pay a deductible instead of shelling out thousands.
Only mods I plan to do is I have ordered BMS intakes and will do something with the exhaust to have a little more low end rumble but that's it.
hope this helps, I do not think this vehicle will disappoint you just take your time and find the right one.

Thank you for this! I’ll likely grab an extended warranty too just in case. A reasonably priced one locally just popped up this am. I may go check it out tomorrow
We love ours, it's a 2021 Wagon, I'm from Canada, we get wagons here. Like gators096 says:

We did a driving trip to Florida and ended up getting 30.5 miles per gallon driving the interstate highways at 75-80mph, super happy with that. I do not have the performance exhaust, it doesn't bother me a bit.

Non -PE sounds VERY good with the rear seats down in the coupe/sedan and you kinda get that all the time with the wagon! lol

I driven non-PE C 43 before, it is a different tone (not necessary bad though), it is louder than a C 450 in a way, if you don't have the PE option, it is not the end of the world, forget about retrofitting it as it is usually more expensive than going aftermarket.
By the way OP, ff sound isn't something that you would care about, it is perfectly fine to not have PE, after all, PE doesn't add horsepower or anything.

I don' personally have the clip of the non PE C 43 I driven before but I found these on youtube, this is a C43 without PE and this is how it sounds (keep in mind this is pfl):
I have had a loaner C43 (FL) so I have driven both facelift PE and non-PE for a couple of days back to back and the main thing I noticed is that it sounds like fake noise comes through the speakers with PE. I don't know if that was confirmed but I thought people were pulling fuses at one point.
Idle does seem louder and pops/crackles are more consistent in the PE. Non-PE seems to only crack loudly when fuel mixture is heavy from a cold start up. I live in a very hot place and have noticed cooler weather can even change the sound of the car.

YMMV.
Yes it is confirmed but the sound module just adds a bit more bass instead of actual fake exhaust noise, it was discussed a lot and confirmed by many: https://mbworld.org/forums/c450-c43-...ml#post7814833
The C 63 has it as well.
