2019 c43 amg oil filter help

Hello everyone, this is my first post but I’ve been lurking the boards for quite some time.

My b1 service is up (no issues doing work on the car) warranty is over, I wanted everything done at MB but no way I’m paying over $600 for an oil change and air filters lol.

After lurking the boards etc I found the filter for like $18 shipped part# 2761800009 from fcpeuro.com.

Question is, I read there are 2 filters that fit, 1 for the regular C classes which is smaller and the other for the 43 coupe which is larger. The filter just came, it says it’s for C series s/w 204 w/ m276/m278 engine. This page shows then c450/c43 as w205 and c63 as w204. I would think 204 is the larger filter.

can anyone please help confirm I’m good to go with this filter before I climb under (yes I’m stubborn and still insist on draining from the bottom lol)? Thanks so much in advance. No warranty to void and I’m itching to mod so I’ll be posting more soon

Mercedes Engine Oil Filter - Purflux 2761800009 is the filter i have ordered many times over from FCP. Fits both my M276 Dela30 (W205 chasis / C43 motor) and the M276 de35 in the ML (W166).
Im not aware of a larger filter for our cars, where do you see a different part number called out for the M276/W205?

Backing this up. Same p/n I've used 7 times for my oil changes. Never seen another filter that had me confused?

The oil filter is in the engine bay and barely leaves any drops. You can check if the filter fits before doing the oil change.

Even if you did, it's not horrible to change the oil filter after flushing the oil. The oil only goes one way through the filter, from inside to out, so it really doesn't contaminate much as long as your old filter is fine.

thanks so much that’s exactly what I order. See below. I’m so confused, the box says 204 but I have a 2019 so that’s a 205 right? The website had a few different companies but they all show the same exact specs just different prices. I went the cheap one that I’ve seen others use. Please forgive my ignorance, this first benz I’m touching.

the larger filter comment came off a youtube video. Guy says make sure to get the larger filter not the one, the only different part number from has an A in front. This filter says it’s for both. Thanks again in advance. If this is good to go I’m going to throw it in quick.

side note since you were nice enough to help can you advice on a cabin filter and were to get and if there are any diy videos or just notes on how to get to it behind the glove box? Was thinking about k&n air filters too (I’m not modding anything on this.) But if it helps her breathe a little and doesn’t trip any sensors is it worth the $200. From my experience it isn’t really going to do much except be reusable without changing everything, throttle body, headers, exhaust,

thank you very much. Something told me I would be able to look at it first without making a mess but i felt stupid asking before checking it myself lol. I always double check the filters. But worst case I can run up the block to auto-zone and grab a different one. I’m thinking this is the filter and I’m just ocd never having touched a benz before. All the other German cars in the house go to the dealer. Not for a $625 oil change. Plus I still enjoy doing my own work. I know it’s done and done well.
