Question C43 Crankshaft position sensor location?

I circled in yellow where I believe it to be. Is this correct?

Our engines have 2 cam sensors and they are both at the top of the engine on the left and right site.

Camshaft sensor and Crankshaft sensor are not the same. OP is asking about crank sensor, which is usually at the front of the engine behind the main crank pulley. That sensor in yellow looks like a temp sensor that close to a coolant pipe connection. (I admit tho, i dont recall any coolant lines running to rear driver side of the motor like that.)

Yeah, my crankshaft sensor comes in tomorrow and wanted to proactively remove it, but I can't find it anywhere. Found a service manual for the M276 engine, but it doesn't show explicitly where it's mounted on the engine. When I check parts catalogs, the Sensor is just hovering in the air with a very vague line pointing to where it goes.

Two false posts #2 and #3 above, sadly.

MB standard crank position sensor location is 11 o’clock as viewed from the driver’s seat, at the junction between engine block and transmission housing. Circled in yellow above.

Yeah, I really struggled just locating the damn sensor yesterday, but finally found it. Had to move some wire mounts out of the way, then squeeze my hand alllll the way down there and took about 10 minutes to get the sensor unclipped. I only have regular torx wrenches which will make it impossible to unscrew the hidden torx bolt, so I ordered a flex extension off Amazon and some torx sockets. Should arrive tomorrow.

It's completely inaccessible from the bottom unless you have very skinny arms and hands, so will be working from the top while laying on some pads.

Thanks for the WIS doc, I was looking for camshaft which makes sense it is on top of the engine near the cam magnets. My bad, made a mistake. Still appreciate your help.
