I've seen a few random posts about changing recently front grill to the "GT" style, or the "Panamerica" style grill, and I think everyone is referring to the C63 type grill. I'm very new to MB vehicles so forgive me if I'm off base here. I do like the aggressive look if that grill and checked out what was offered, mostly on ebay. Some are very cheap, ABS plastic, others a bit more substantial. I would appreciate any advice on this subject from some of you more knowledgeable folks on this.
I got one on eBay for about $200. Be specific about coupe or sedan they are different. First one I got was a sedan was pretty obvious it wasn't going to fit right out of the box. The biggest problem is you have to take the whole front bumper off the car to put it in and then recalibrate all the sensors. It's a pain but the look is worth the effort.
