Hey All,

I recently purchased a 2017 c43 amg sedan.

I noticed it is a little jerky in lower gears and i have heard that there is a TCU update to fix this as i still have the up arrow in manual mode i assume i dont have the new update.

But i cannot find any release notes for any updates and wondering if i do the update will it affect power/sound?

Hold on, where did you read about the latest update removing the upshift indicator?

I believe he is saying the opposite. In any event, never heard of the TCU update fixing the jerkiness.

I don't remember where I saw someone saying that. Too many webpages of research lol. Yeah I've opted not to go get it checked for an update lol

Ya it didn't fix the jerikness but pretty much eliminated the bunny hop.

FWIW, I have the latest ECU/ME module update + TCU update on my 2017 C 43, the upshift indicator is still there.

I've had it bunny hop 1 time on me. I was like greattttt. Then I got to googling.

Honestly that wasn't a big deal either, just shift up manually which it stops immediately, that hop happens when your foot bounces on the gas pedal due to the momentum of the vehicle and then rinse and repeat, it is not the transmission hopping, it is our foot.

My 2019 FL can be Jerky in first gear when in Sport Plus mode... Doesn't happen all the time, but on occassion.
