2020 C43 Coupe
Dragy / Dyno Results from aftermarket intakes - anybody?

2020 C43 Coupe owner. My car is stock except for a JB4 running Map2 with a BCM.

Does anyone have numbers showing that a intake makes a difference on this platform?

Weistec is showing monster gains across the entire RPM range with their intake, but doesn't provide any data on the car or environmental conditions. Honestly, the data seems too good to be true - but I'd love to be proved wrong on this.

I'd love to see a A/B test with any available intake - post them if you got them.

Weistec said that their dyno plot was a back to back test, only thing different was the intake, and the car had a stage 2 tune. Also indicated that since the car has closed loop boost control, the boost was the same for both runs.

3.42s / 11.46s is really moving! Were there any other changes between your stage 1 and stage 2 pulls? What tune are you using?

From the stage 1 to stage 2 the only things i added were - wagner intercooler, logos catted downpipes, the logos intakes and the amr rv3.1 stage 2 tune.

For stage 1 it was just the bms intakes and FI exhaust, weistec bov adapters and rv3.1 stage 1 tune.

There's too many changes between the runs to make any conclusion about the efficacy of the intakes.

Agreed, but the bms intakes are still the #2 intakes i recommend. I had no issues with them the almost 2 yrs i owned them on my tuned stage 1 c450. People will bring up that they absorb heat but i just lol.
