Chevron Fuel System Cleaner?
Has anyone used this stuff before? My car only has 31K so I don’t think I need it at this point.
A friend who works for a parts distributor gave me a bottle to try.

Good stuff I suppose. I used to use it once or twice a year. Do not have high mileage car anymore. Be sure to change your oil after you run it with a tank of gas. Really dirties the oil.

I’m assuming op is talking about Chevron Techron which is one of the best. Op, when deciding on what to buy you are looking for the highest pea content which is usually redline, crc, and Techron. Some people will also recommend top tier branded gas which has more additive than standard off the shelf gas. However, a once in a while fuel system cleaner is still a good practice.

correct. Fuel additives can dilute the oil as well. Generally you can use them up to twice between oil changes if they are the stronger concentrations or volumes.
I’m assuming op is talking about Chevron Techron which is one of the best. Op, when deciding on what to buy you are looking for the highest pea content which is usually redline, crc, and Techron. I just did an oil change not too long ago so I’ll save for when I’m due for the next one.

That must have been an incredible experience. I grew up in Vancouver so I can certainly appreciate the beauty you witnessed on your trip to western Canada. Lots of great roads, and probably lots of Chevron stations along the way!
