Extended warranty question
I just got my 2023 C43 coupe and I am thinking I might keep this one a little longer than normal. Really enjoying the car. How long of a warranty extension do you guys recommend? I am good through 2027 but will need a one after that. Should I do 5 or just go for a longer term length?

Do you have a cpo car.? That limited waranty can be extended, shop for best price. If you bought used then you are looking at aftermarket, such as Fidelity, you cannot buy a mb warranty. Though Fidelity is more expensive than cpo it covers a lot more. Only original buyer can extend standard factory warranty. Only buyer of cpo car can extend cpo.

its not CPO. Got 26 months left on factory and after that I have been talking to Trent who sells warranties on here. Got his info from this forum. How long typically do you recommend extending? 10 years seems like overkill.

Wrong sub forum, you belong in the W206 generation. They should be able to give you more information on the reliability of the car in order to recommend extending the warranty or not.
Personally, I've had bad experiences with extended warranties as most OEMs don't actually provide their own warranty. They commission off a 3rd party. The terms and conditions are typically sketchy, very meticulous in what is covered and whats not, high deductibles or expensive contract, use of aftermarket parts (depending on company/OEM policy), longer wait before being able to mod car if you care about that, and usually worse service experience. YMMV.

Fidelity Platinum thru @Highline-Autos.comis worth considering. Mercedes ELW can be purchased any time prior to manufacturer warranty expiring.
