Unhappy Active headlamps inoperative

My active headlights have been non functional since i bought the car. The dealer i bought it from was having work done to the car a few days before i picked it up. When i picked it up all my sensors in the front didnt work and my active headlamps didnt work. I fixed the sensors by plug in in a cable that was disconnected after i bought the car. Anyways im trying to figure out why my headlights dont work. One of the headlights was removed when it was having work done so im thinking they may need to be reprogrammed but im not sure. Tonight when i was driving home i switched my brights on pulling into my driveway and the brights just flashed and the automatic headlight symbol came on. It was dark enough in my yard for the brights to work. This has never happened before usually i flip the bright switch forward and it says "active headlamps in operative" i pull the stick back and push it back forward and my brights just work normally on all the time. I really dont want to take it to the dealer to get it fixed because that could potentially be a very expensive fix. If anyone has had this issue in the past please let me know what happened.

I’m having the same message displayed but after adjusting my air suspension height on my GLC43 with my Renntech module. I’m sure we have different things causing the issue but did you ever figure out what was going on?
