C63 still touted at 450hp for unveil next Spring. Check this?!?
What do you make of this part of the article. 
The car will look the part of a compact muscle car too, promises Mario Spitzner, AMG director of marketing and sales/branding.
"It would be sportier and more crisp in the future," he said. But don't expect full-on German Touring Car regalia. "The world doesn't need two M3s," Spitzner said.
That likely means the C63 will remain understated compared to its Munich rival, with ride and handling that are suitably refined for the three-pointed star.
"If you drive our cars over long stretches, you don't get out of them with a backache," Spitzner said.

Nice little article. It was nice to hear it from somebody from AMG rather than rumours. But if you noticed, there was still not confirmation of 450hp. I believe it will be right around 450 because it should be a little higher than the M3 and the 6.3 engine is certainly capable of 450hp. But it is still not totally official. I can't wait to see what it looks like. I also wonder if the price will skyrocket like the CLK63's did.

Even if it is at 450, so what? That means they will have DEtuned the hell outta this thing and it should be very cheap/easy to free up some serious hp. Maybe they will under rate the hp output on this like BMW always does...

until i see a e63 hit mid 12's to high 12's...
i doubt the C63 will be any faster...
i bet it will gain weight over the C55 and the 7sp has not proven to be a good competition to the SMG3.
we will have to wait and see..
but I think I just purchaced my last AMG, until they start using force induction on the new 63 motors..
