I'd hit it..... :P

MercedesFTW 05-25-2007 12:47 PM

The quads look better on the W204 I think.

Think those are the same size wheels as on the CLK63?

IMO, the front fascia doesn't look aggresive enough.

I like it though...

amgmark 05-25-2007 12:58 PM

Looks great.. sames wheels as the E63 too..

kaze81 05-25-2007 01:00 PM

I must admit, this C63 looks

I might be wrong but ooks like the wheels are 19"

cntlaw 05-25-2007 01:01 PM

Look like I have got to be working a day job again to afford that.:p:

PC Valkyrie 05-25-2007 01:43 PM

That's a photoshop......the front bumper will almost certainly look more aggressive with the "squared off" look like the E63 and SLK55.

I agree... Looks pretty sweet though :)

j_belll 05-25-2007 02:05 PM

wow. looks amazing!

14cue 05-25-2007 02:40 PM

it looks great and i know it will only grow on me with time but i still prefer the look of the C55 over this.

Fifth Ring 05-25-2007 02:47 PM

Nice, but it still doesn't get the blood pumping like an M3 or S4/RS4. I assume it only comes with an automatic, so it's probably not a bad strategy to make the C63 more of a "mature" cruiser than the M3 or S4/RS4.

From the rear, it makes me think more of the other big Benz AMGs -- more of a locomotive than a roller coaster.

With the price of gasoline, who would have thought we'd be seeing 6.3 liter V8 engines in European cars in the 21st Century.

+1,
in time, after i see it in person i bet this car will grow on me. then inside might just take a lot longer to grow on me then the outside. but non the less the car looks amazing and i can wait till i have the money to get me one.

Agreed. The license plates and vent just forward of the front wheels are obviously pasted in. Whoever Alim is, is just was looking for his 15 minutes.

Keep waiting for the real thing.

rlee02135 05-25-2007 08:12 PM

not too bad, but i like my W203 :D

demigod 05-25-2007 08:52 PM

I think round/oval style headlights look better. The body lines look almost like a Cadillac to me..

kevblah 05-25-2007 09:47 PM

Okay, we're starting a group buy on this. Who wants in?

KleanC 05-26-2007 12:53 AM

Still Like the W203 over the w204....good photoshop tho...pano roof would've made it look sick.. why cant we have the w203 in a C63 AMG version?l...

I saw this car a few months back at a Chevron station in the Long Beach area. The bumpers had alot of white and black tape covering holes and such. The exhaust had a nice deep sound too it and was also hidden underneath the bumper cover, purposely done.It had huge brakes on the front and aslo different size and style wheels from front to rear. The driver was filling out some paperwork while i drove around it a few times and snapped these pics from my camera phone. Not sure if it is indeed a C63,but if its not then the regular c classes are getting some awesome looking brakes and great sounding deep exhaust tones.Hard to think this isnt a C63 after all the parts and cover up it had.Werkswagen emblem on the rear of the trunk panel.

That is the chevron located "in the area of the" VPC in Long Beach. Whenever I pick up a car from the VPC I buy the first tank of gas from that station. So if a car is being shipped over here for testing it comes through that facility and would be in that area.

That is likely a W204 prototype but it could be a C63. I cant see the brakes well enough to be sure but it clearly has no exposed quad exhaust. The C63 seen out in death valley several months ago had exposed quad exhaust so I would venture to guess that if this were the real C63 it would have that same set up.

MB has to do 100k mile emissions tests on th W204 cars so this is likely a more standard W204 but it still is something exciting to see.

I see the E90 M3 coupe all the time driving around Malibu and my neighborhood doing its 100k emissions testing as well.

It is "the new trend" manufacturers are trying to follow. Many models now have a face looking like an angry bird, including the new Merc, BMW, a few Japanese brands as well.

I am not sure which I will like more but at least the W203 headlights are quite unique and cool at the same time.

Stormin 05-26-2007 11:44 AM

I think that the new W204 looks a lot more like a mini CL/SL, whereas the W203 has always looked like a smaller W211 E-Class IMHO.

I will miss the round lights, but the new front end is growing on me more and more each time I see it.

alroumi 07-05-2007 05:52 AM

I like the tinted taillights, its what the official C63 is missing I guess.
