What was the old c55?
I'm guessing the c62 will be 12/18? Hopefully higher?

It depends on how you drive. When I drive my wife's C55, I can get the mileage as low as I can on my S65. It just takes a little practice.

12 to 19 MPG. The Fed's just made the automakers revamp their estimates. The old ratings were based on old 55 MPH speed limits and were tested without any air on and level ground (no hills, slopes, curves - braking etc). My dad sent me a website where you could plug in your car and it would show the old vs. new ratings -- I'll try to find it and post it here

I completely agree with you and the the poster immediately above! Surely when engineering and buying such a car fuel economy isn't a concern...the focus is on performance!!! Im sure if MPG was a concern we would have seen a AMG 2.0L 4cyl diesel!!!! instead of a 450bhp 6.2 V8. I really dont understand why this is even brought up!
