NORTH 44 C63

This will not fit the C63 hood. White Star is 43mm in diameter and the the C63 hood emblem diameter is 67mm. Far too small

Wrong. Underneath that cheap plastic 67mm stand-up hood emblem, there is a nice divot in the hood that fits the 43mm White Star nicely... and flush. Take off the standard badge for a sec (unclips easily from under the hood) and you'll see what I mean.

NORTH 44 C63

Sorry MB-BOB, I think you are mistaken. I haven't removed the C63 badge but the ones I have seen here in Canada sit down into a nice 68mm divot. They don't "stand up" flush on the hood as you suggest. If there is another divot 43 mm divot underneath the won't it look a little odd with the extra ring on the outside??

I have attached 4 photos to illustrate. 3 of the C63 and 1 C280 hood and emblem. As you can see, the C63 hood has a center peak that runs its entire length. It does seem more pronounced then non AMG W203's but I could be wrong. The C63 emblem is recessed below this peak and down into the hood in the 68 mm divot...

I wish you were correct then the White Star or Mario's (4AMGS) nice piece , both of which I own, would fit the C63 I have coming. The hunt continues.....

I haven't seen any C63s yet with a stand up mercedes emblem! From what I've seen they are all flat. I like the white star, but I'd have to see a picture of one on a new C63 prior to buying. Any C63 owners out there with pics?

MB-BOB, it appears that NORTH 44 C55 is right... the C63 hood is not the same as the other W204s, and apparently uses the Plastic SLK badge in a recessed mount of the appropriate size (as on the GL, R, CL, etc.). Sooo... there is no real reason for this thread anymore, as my WHITE STAR Flat Badge won't fit.
