sooo longgg :(
mann i am getting really impatient :@ i can't wait for the c63 to arrive i placed 1k deposit already, and i just can't sit patiently for my car to arrive :| My previous car was a slk32, but the lease ended in june of this year, and i have been searching for a car that has equal amount of power (slk55 would be nice, but after 4 years of driving a 2 seater, i found it really inconvinient). i considered the 335i, but i just couldn't see myself in a bmw. After tossing out the 335i, i ALMOST leased a is350 :| but right when i went to the lexus dealer, BAM mercedes reveals the C63. ahh then the wait began (since july).
i'm just getting impatient, so i thought i'd share my story lol.. 7 more months of waiting.. omg -___-

same boat..
i have an itch to replace the E55 for something newer.
Used E63 is nice.. but not worth taking the loss.
used CLS55: nice but same issues with my E55 but way better look.
used CLS63: can't afford
new 335 COUPE: still debating on this.. i'm just waiting to see how the new v2 tuning compares on the 1/4 track and to AMG's. I don't want to have a car that traps under 110. I don't want to add to many mods, to avoid warranty issues.
C63. I'm in love. Too bad DSG not availalble yet, but the 7sp works. I will need to lease to keep my monthly payments the same as my E55. I'm thinking this thing will trap around 112 to 113, just a bit slower than E55 but with much better handling. Le'ts not forget, that probably ECU flash will add another 20 to 30hp since the motor is detuned.

oh yeah, now that you brought up dsg, i've got a quick question!
in the end of the top gear review, the mercedes guy told the reporter to wait and see? does that mean there's a possibility that the dsg transmission will be available in april? or is the 7 speed gonna be the only option in april? because it would really suck if i get the 7 speed in april, then the dsg comes out in like lets say.. june?

Some people have mentioned about DSG being introduced later on, maybe in the second year production? or as one of the facelift items? Nobody knows. But I doubt AMG will come up with a totally different gearing system in the next 7 months. So most likely 7G will still be the only option in April. But maybe slightly improved than the one that Top Gear reviewed.

sweeeeeet! my dealer just called! he invited me to go test drive the new C!! it's finally here in canada (vancouver)!!hopefully it'll be a blast! anyways, i made an appointment with him on wednesday! so hopefully i'll be able to tell u guys how i think when i finish test driving
(the purpose of the test drive isnt about performance, because i'm not getting the c300/350, but the 63! so i'm just test driving for the luxury and comfort of the car!)

Iku, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but please be aware that MBWorld has setup a dedicated non-AMG W204 forum which can be found here:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w204-83/
You can find a lot of diverse personal reviews about W204 first drive, driving experience, owning experience, first look, first impression, interior, exterior and other topics, written by various members.
If what you will be test-driving is a non-AMG W204, then please post your review in the forum mentioned above, not here, and give us the link to your post.
I hope your test-driving experience is a positive one.
Regards.
