So I'm new to Mercedes, but what is this color in all of the C63 promo pics? Is it silver or is it gray? It looks like a combination of both?

It's a pretty awesome color. It has the brightness of silver and the substance of gray. And it can be either depending on lighting conditions! Well, color decision has been made for my C63 lol.

the color on that C63 is steel gray. that's the color i'll be getting on my C63

You might be right....depends on the lighting. The Steel Grey does seem darker though...look at the C350 sport configuration site (US) with the pic above side by side;. The W204 Micro site has a gallery of pics and Palladium is highlighted there:

Best wait to see a W204 live in both colors before you make a choice

^^^ yeah, i think it's steel gray b/c there's a slight blue hue to the color. palladium silver has a grayer hue to it.

+ the front quarter panel in the 1st pic looks like it may have been resprayed.
