C63 vs M3 vs RS4 (Motor Trend SCANS)

Looks like understeer still loses to balanced handling. Oh well, I'd still take the C63 anyway. And it's the cheapest (at tested) of the three.

I think customers looking for ride comfort should look towards the E63 (now that the C63 costs 70k as well) and the C63 should be the performance monster of the AMG line. If we let ride comfort take the front seat we will have the C32 once again that was just way behind the competion in the chassis department.
My hat is off to AMG. They did it correctly this time and I love the outcome.

I'd still take the C63 even if it was ranked third. Just read the review, you can't go wrong with any of the three.
Only highschool fanboys are concerned about the ranks given by magazines.

that article proves nothing really. You cant go wrong with any of those 3 cars. We all know that. I am looking forward to 030 reviews. Also, this is the first production batch. I am sure later produced cars can be tweaked here and there more. C63 has 4 doors, and don't forget guys, we should be easily able to squeeze out another 20 to 30 HP out of the C63, maybe as much as 40 to 50. It will not be possible to squeeze out much from the audi/bmw with simple bolt ons, at least not as easy as the C63. And nothing short of forced induction will EVER make the audi/bmw have that much torque.

I agree, all three cars would be a good choice. Don't mean to ask a stupid question but, the C63 seems a better comparison with the M5 than M3. The C63 has so much more displacement than the other two cars. Even the M5 doesn't have that many cu in.. What MB is compared to the M5? I'd take the M3 but would love to have all that torque from the C63.

No longer car shopping...
I can't even BEGIN to tell you how many copywrite laws are broken by this thread. If anyone wants to read this in the future, they better download it now (not that I would advocate such an action myself though)...

Bad article...and of course the M3 wins. You'll never see it lose in an American mag.
The refinement, impressive handling, damn good looks, and monstrous engine clearly are enough for me to vote the C63 as the winner.

How come there is never a CLK63 vs M3 comparison? Guess which one would win in ANY magazine? The C will never win with 4 doors. It's a stigma.
