The M3 won the lap time but EVO had good things to say about c63
They liked the interior a lot, best amonst the group, wonderful seats and great exhaust and fast shifting auto. They also mentioned grip on c63 was outstanding even in wet. Evo thought white c63 was not really great to show all the lines of the C63 but liked it over M3 in looks
EVo mentioned that C63 ride is firm but still acceptable and very good at high way speeds. THe c63 steering had lots of feel bested only by M3's clarity and only when really pushing the M3 hadnling shines over the C63.
I guess we can say Cayman S significanlty triumphs the new m3's hadnling which is slightly better than C63, all relative I guess
I think for street use Merc has the edge in torque, looks and practicality and M3 definelty wins for track usage

Again, I think history repeats itself........ the story has always been M3 beats AMG around the track while, but AMG wins pretty much all the other categories. I wonder what would happen if one of the companies would actually cross over and win the other company's category

I think M and AMG are converging, the M3 I drove felt "softer" than previous models, the `63 is more hardcore than the c55.
