Base pricing in the low to mid $60K's and the Lack of Performance package/LSD is unfortunately enough to make one seriously consider the New M3 sedan...looks like the new M sedan is going to be a bargain...

I spec'd mine out and I'm pissed that there is no two tone interior. I wanted black and red with my palladium silver and no panaromic sunroof that is available on the C350.

just to point out that that is standard on C350 as well.

That's not correct. The C350 in the US only has power seats with controls on the side of the seat. There is no memory available and the steering wheel is manually controlled.

Long story short we couldnt find the keyless go button so he took it off a S63that was parked right next to ours and slid it in the key slot. I had no idea keyless go was just an adapter that fits in the key slot that acts as an antenna to your key.

So what i am thinking is that if keyless go is offered in HK on the C63 then why wouldnt we be able to get it or just buy the peice from the dealer. I asked a tech guy and he told me it works the same for all cars that offer keyless go.

Now if only getting an LSD in the C63 was that easy...

unless lots has changed since i owned a 2005 e55, keyless go has a different shift knob featuring the "start/stop" ignition button. no amount of sliding things into keyholes could change that.

Yes Keyless Go has changed. The ML, GL, R, CL, and S-Class, and C-Class (in Europe) have replaced the shifter keyless go button with one that sits where the key would normally be inserted. This is probably because the M, GL, R, CL, and S-Classes have a column mounted shifter instead.

The thing I do like about the Mercedes Keyless Go is that you can remove the button and still use the key unlike many Keyless Go systems from other manufactuers.

For an 08 C63, assuming 1) a gas guzzler of $1300 and 2) that the options/packages are the same price as the regular C Class, a C63 with ALL options/packages comes in at about $62K USD. This does not include sales tax.

Maybe it might a mis-printed but according to the article, $53,800 is the base model C63.
