MCT:

AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission. The newly developed power transfer concept features a compact, wet start-up clutch that replaces the conventional torque converter. The resulting direct connection to the powertrain, together with the double-declutching and Race Start functions, guarantees an extremely emotional, supremely dynamic driving experience.

Initially being released on the SL63 and eventually will make its way through the AMG model line (let's hope it gets all the way "down" to the C 63)

Great info, that should keep the C63 ahead.

I usually go for black cars, but for some reason the chrome on the door panels and the black are not doing it for me. Silver or white blends it more, but I still don't like the chrome there!!!!! Anyone else not like it, or am I just being picky???

The exhaust note. Well, when I test drove the C55 a couple years ago, it sounded deep and had a nice grumble to it, almost like an american muscle car. The C63 sounded a little bit more high pitched and when revved up, sounded like all hell was about to break loose. This thing is not quiet by any measure.

That's what I expect from the C63

I can't work miracles! I'd do just about anything to take one of these bad boys for a spin. The CLK63 BS's are also absolutely amazing cars.

A couple things to note. Looks like we are in fact getting the seats with the 3 sets of buttons. Each set controls a different lumbar support. Upper lumbar in/out, lower lumbar in/out and the last one adjusts the side bolsters from narrower to wider.

Some of the cars had black wood trim and others had brushed aluminum trim like on the C300's.

All C63's will supposedly have memory seats standard.

To me, Mercedes-Benz has really stepped out of thier comfort zone with this car. It is in NO WAY a typical Benz. This car was built for one purpose, to go very very fast. Even the seats are closer to race bucket seats (think S2000) than any type of luxury seat.

After being able to sit, touch, smell and hear one up close, I would say the C63 is for all the speed freaks and adrenaline junkies out there. If you're looking for any kind of luxury, this is probably not the car for you.

that's what they're saying. I wouldn't be suprised at all to see it dyno at closer to 500 just like the other 63 cars though. Do the numbers really matter? Mercedes has already said that it's faster than any other AMG previously.

Its true that numbers don't matter. This vehicle is lighter than E63 and plus I heard tuning the ECU for this car is phenomonal.

The biggest problem with this car is going to be traction. There's no way 255's or even 265's are going to have a chance against this motor.

BMW 330i - C63 on order.
What colour is the interior of the black one and any chance of a photo? Is it reef grey? (the only interior colours available in the UK are black and reef grey)
Thanks.
