look at the official weight... 3650 +/-
a few months back... some mags recorded a weight of 3800 to 3900..
and the M3 at 3500 +/-
now... both cars weigh about the same and are priced the same...
and both can get to $60k very quickly with options.
I still would like to have the MCT on the AMG and the DCT on the M, but not sure being a new product will have too many bugs.

the C63 comes with cloth/leather seats in Germany as a standard, why wouldn't it come that way statewise? On the other hand it doesn't cost you 85K either so why shouldn't they just throw in some Nappa seats.

The S does seem to be slightly more expensive, but they're all all-wheel drive. I can't really speak about standard features, but remember that optioning a BMW and MB is more costly. Getting "sport packages" on a MB or BMW cost anywhere from $2K to $5K, whereas an Audi S is already considered a "sport" model. They equal out pretty quickly, although I think Audi's are still more expensive in the end.

i'd love to get a merc with cloth instead of leather. my parents bought their '98 ML 320 on special order with cloth interior. they had to wait 6 months for the build, during which time the dealer offered them several leather models that they turned down. unlike many a leather car that's 10 years old, their ML's cloth still looks brand new.

It makes you wonder what it's all about , just did the spec on my C63 and final price is £55,000 or approx $105,000.
