The 318 Leather/Seating Package is not an option for the 2008. It is on all the cars so if you plan on ordering a 2008, your price will include the $2950 no matter what. Just got confirmation from a dealership. There is no way for them to remove the option even though it's an option. How stupid.

It makes the base price look good against the competition, but in reality the base is closer to $56,700 (plus 875 destination). Even if the $56,700 was the base is still is competitive once you option out the car vs the competition. Go figure.

Now who doesn't want Nappa on their AMG?

I went and removed the option from my order. Diddnt feel the need to pay 3K for Nappa leather & memory seats. Kinda sucks tho

how were you able to remove it? my dealership indicated they couldn't remove it.

Just called my sales associate and told him i diddnt want the option any more and he said that he went ahead and removed it, never mentioned anything about not being able to remove it
