2008 BMW 335i Coupe (Six-speed Manual)
I see a lot more E46 M3s where I live/work, a few C32s, and a significantly fewer number of C55s (I've probably only seen one). If you lived in San Diego I bet a C63 is rare... but maybe because people in the same market probably opted for a more expensive car instead.

Hmm, you must not have been to Austin, Houston, or Dallas, that car isn't rare at all here. And did you really just compare a GL550 to a Suburban?

This is without any extra option on either car. I have to say that I am happy that the C63 is 20 grand less.
in canada we are looking at roughly 90k for a c63. factor in the taxes and we are well over 100k. if they do raise the price on these things it would make sense to do it in the US market. everyone else around the world pays quite alot for them already.

It sounds to me like you're getting a wrong car. C63 is an entry-level AMG. If you want a more exclusive car and can afford it, then there are other choices like E63, CLS63, CL63, SL63, etc. If C63 cost the same as E63, who the heck would buy a C63?

Trust me I have hotels in Texas, so I know that there are plenty of nice cars. I should have said small *** towns when I passed through. No MB is rare these days unless its an SLR.

But there is that aura that resonates from an MB that doesn't resonate from other marques. As per the Ferrari comment, many of those that have a Ferrari also have a BMW, MBZ, or else so clearly that comment doesn't hold true.

Good point....... if they raised the price of C63, then they'll be forced to price all their models or lose a lot of sales. Also, the competition has a lot to do with it. If other companies are offering a similar car with similar performance for a lot less, people will usually go with the better priced car.
