Question Launch Control?

Does anyone know if the C63 AMG or the M3 have the Launch Control option or not?

Neither one have it right now.. I wish the C63 has launch control too, and maybe SMG like gear shifter instead of the standard auto tranny shifter... And E90/E92 M3 right now is all manual, maybe they'll have launch control when the dual clutch gearbox arrives next year?

Either one of those cars would have been amazing if they had Launch control! I mean being able to race a Ferrari F430 with your $60k C63 or M3 on a straight line and leaving the driver of that car in absolute awe would have been fun.. but I guess I am asking for too much.

The new SL63 is equiped with a launch control function called Race Start.
Maybe it will be a standard feature on the facelifted C63 ?

F430 does 0-60 in 3.5s, you'll need a GT-R for the job :P

I didn't say the C63 or the M3 would win.. I said being able to race! and Launch Control would have definitely helped that dream come through.

Why would you need launch control on a straight stick M3?
The older US version SMG M3s had a hobbled lauch control.

The M3 does have launch control when equipped with the new M DKG 7-speed, dual-clutch transmission.

The dual clutch transmission is hitting the states in a few weeks.
