2008 Jeep SRT8 NOW ... C63 IN MAY!
SPENT SOME QUALITY TIME WITH A C63 TODAY ...
After months of anticipation, intrigue and excitement - I checked out a C63 in person today. EuroMotorcars in Bethesda, Maryland received a White / Tan car in this weekend. My sales guy at the dealer called me up and was excited to show me the car. All I can say is "WOW". First impressions:
-The front and 3/4 views are extremely aggressive. Great presence. However, at the same time, the car has a nice understated look to it.
-The xenon lamps look great in the housing.
-I really like the 18" wheels better than the 19" performance package wheels - they have a great look to them - they're a nice contrast with the white.
-Leather is very, very soft. Reminds me of the nappa on my old RS4.
-Gauges are great looking and very practical.
-Driver / Passenger seats are incredible. Shape is great. Comfort is great.
-HOLY **** THIS CAR IS LOUD! The cold startup sound was just incredible.
I only checked it out for 10 minutes or so and didn't rev the engine at all - only started it. I cannot wait for mine to come - its just around the corner!

I got to today also, a black one, Made me want one BAD.
I wondered about the 19" also, because with a 255/35/18 on there it's gonna be rough as is, put a 19" on there and a 30 series tire and I see that being just a tad stiff.
Didn't see NAPA anywhere, just "AMG leather package, amg premium leather upholstery" for almost 3K
very sweet car

not if you're maintaining the same rolling diameter. Not so much important for cars before abs and other babysitters, but new cars it matters. At least to me it does
math wise a 255/30/19 is the same diameter as the255/35/18
265/30/19 is a quarter inch increase in diameter and a .4" decrease in sidewall
255/30/19 is a half inch decrease in sidewall but same diameter as stock

wow! I miss that one, I would have driven a few more miles to see how white looks like. That would look mean with black leather
