'08 C63 AMG (turned in for lease)
Aftermarket performance upgrades?
I think in about 6 months im going to get the Renntech ecu upgrade which supposedly puts hp up to 520-530. Price around 3-4K, i think im gonna pull the trigger on that. Any1 else thinking about doing performance upgrades?

you wont get 520/30 hp with just an ecu flash, renntech is also very overpriced. But thats just my opinion. I'm going with VRP mods. ECU,filters,headers. my goal is 550 hp. After seeing what Victor and vrp team did to E55's They gonna pimp that 63 engine up to 600 hp with ease!!!

I agree with BoBCanada. VRP seems to have an honest handle on the M156 engine and has one of the best/trusted development teams on the planet.

On top of that, VRP developes parts using US spec vehicles, so you know their parts are going to fit with no problems. On the other hand, Evoms developes its parts based on an CLK63BS, and I just hope they will expand their 63 products line into other 63 AMG cars soon.
