is it really a mid 400Hps detuned version of the 6.2L V8 from the E63, or is this another marketing gimmick like the E55 being rated at 469hp vs the 493hP from the S55 when both are infact the same motor?

basically, did they underrate the HP of the C63 so it wouldnt disrupt E class sales or is it really a less powerful motor?

Same engine, but detuned from the more expensive applications is the result so far.
