Yeah, have to do the roof it's a must. And actually the DRL surrounds are just wrapped in satin black vinyl.

New rubber on the c63!! got the michelin pilot 275/35/18 super sports and even with a drop, it fits perfect and no rubbing. No room for any spacers though.

Did you notice that our back-to-back photos above were taken at an almost identical angle?
Hey man, no I did not. Starting in '12, when the LCI C63s came out, MB/AMG offered two OEM 18" wheel choices in the USA: 1) the "solid" 5-spoke with recessed Titanium Grey-painted ribs, which the car launched with in '08 (this is the option I chose); 2) the "twin-spoke" 5-spoke.
I liked the styling of both options but was told that the solid 5-spoke was marginally stronger - an attribute I needed because of all the freezing and thawing my roads go through every year.

I am also debating picking up a set of 19" wheels (and wider tires) but with the wheels I'm considering, there is no way to run the MB center cap and that bothers me.
Saw your photos - car looks phenomenal. Congrats again!

I've been wanting to pick up a set of the OEM 18" split-spoke wheels to run in the summer. If you go aftermarket and want to sell yours, you've got a buyer!

haha sorry, i love my wheels. Best part, i can run them year round, no snow or rough roads down here in south fla.
