Agreed! That's the single fin grill that was an aftermarket C class grill mod'd to fit our 63. Very long story*, but there was huge demand a while back for this. (*Search: single fin grill)
Now that the 2012 is out and it appears to be a single fin style, I'm even MORE interested as it would be a nice little update to make our cars appear a bit newer. Maybe we start a new thread to find demand?

As u can see on the pics there is no prob to fit the OEM Grill![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
U have to go into the grill with ur hands and clip them into the bumperclips, that's all

Man, i pushed, and pulled so hard I almost ripped the bumper off. It seems like the bottom of the bumper is pointier than the grille, but when i lined it up to C63 grille. The curve was the same. ![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
The bottom center will just not go. I was all stoked. I Plasti-Dipped it, and was ready to rock, till i tried the install.![action](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/action1.gif)
I even tried it with removing that "T" brace that attaches to the OEM grille with the two pins, and still no go.

Hmmm.. Hard to say. I personally just hate the star. Wish we could get our stock grille without the star. All the starless grilles out there either have the top filled in, or no mesh behind which looks cheap.
Im going to try again tonight to get this grille to work
