Chrome Inserts
My dealer (and close friend) ordered me in the Chrome door handle inserts. My C63 is Irridium Silver - what are your thoughts on them? They look kinda cool on (I just laid them in to take a look), as the play off of the wheels and all the other chrome/aluminum emblems and "pieces" on the car... What do you think? Does anyone have any pics of them on a new C63?

I'm personally not a fan, but it is down to personal preference. I'm seriously considering de-chroming my 63 when it arrives in July - I think the black matte finish will contrast nicely with my chosen pewter exterior.
Just my opinion, other will prefer more chrome - go with your gut

Well, I am a Harley Davidson guy also - i do like chrome. I just thought the C63 is kinda "in your face" styling as it is, and adding a few little touches like the chrome inserts really play up the AMG/C63 emblems. I dont think you buy an AMG product to blend in, was my thoughts... Hmmmm, decisions!

A great problem to have huh?! I've still got 6 weeks till they build mine and then I guess another 4 for shipping. Painful! At least it gives me time to discover as many mods as I can before I get it. Top of my list is an integrated Valentine 1 - found a company that conceals it and uses the speedo center display and steering wheel button to control it. Nice...

Oh I see a Valentine 1 is a radar detector (thanks Google!!)!! Oh well, they are against the law in Virginia! So I wont be adding that to my list of wants for the 63!
