C63 owners ,Can you downshift multiple gears at a time in S mode by clicking left paddle couple of times ?
I know in M mode, it allows only one gear downshift at a time
I was wondering if in S mode, say u want to shift from 5 to 3 going at 50 MPH and U click the left padddle twice, does it directly go from 5 to 3 with one throttle blip OR does it step from 5 to 4 by blipping once and then 4 to 3 with another throttle blip ?
The ZF Auto gear box in the BmW 335 does the shift from 5->3 in one step with one blip, and was wondering how theC63 does it
In the 2007 Slk55 Amg, clicking the left paddle twice like above, the gear display goes from 5 to 3 instantly but the actual gear goes from 5 to 4 and then 4 to 3 , kinda annoying and no throttle blips
Thanks

latest Auto tranny's ( 335 ZF Gear box , DSG, DCT ) can directly shift from 5 to 3 in one step with 2 quicks pull on the downshift paddle.

Hi There unsure if this the answer you are looking for
If I'm driving at say 60mph , and need to slow down first make sure that your window or sunroof is openI then pull the minus paddle until it either drops to every gear or you can hold it in until it drops to it maxinum low gear , sometime gear 2 or 3! I often use this method for braking as I love the burble/ backfire etc from the exhaust awesome note
Unsure if you can drive the US version the same , as there are small differences between them.
Cheers

I know with the auto in my SLK I can be driving along in 5th (50km/h) and instead of tapping the button to shift down I just hold the button down and it will shift straight to 2nd (lowest gear possible). I'd assume that the C63 box does the same thing.
