MBUSA Response regarding web site
My email to MBUSA:
Comments: I have a MY09 C63 on order and am very surprised that first of
all the 2009 pricing is not avaialble but even more surprised that the
MBUSA web site does not allow you to build your own C63 whereas the Canada
Mercedes-Benz site has this already available for quite some time. MB needs
to shape up and get it's web site updated more quickly. there are many
complaints on several of the web based discussion forums.

MBUSA Response
Dear Mr. Shakesby:
We asked our AMG product group why we don't include all AMG vehicles on
Build Your Own. They told us in most cases , the vehicles are in limited
supply at local dealers and to avoid a long wait for a "custom" vehicle,
the customer purchases a vehicle off the sales room floor. Additionally,
as you may know, options are limited on these vehicles, most features are
standard.
That being said, the MSRP on the 2008 C63 is $53,800 and the MSRP of the
2009 C63 is still to be determined. Prices are usually released close to
launch which is also not available at this time.
Thank for your enthusiasm for the 2009 C63. We had a 2008 C63 here to look
at the other day, WOW!
Sincerely,
Robyn

"off the sales room floor"...great, impulse buying is surely how I have made to the point in my life to afford this car. Give me a break! I'm moving to Canada

That has to be the most useless response from MBUSA yet. Ok so what, put everything possible on the website and let people pick and choose and then wait for what they want. It as simple as that!
I can understand why 2009 model year information isn't available yet when the 2008 models just arrived, but this not being able to build your own is ridiculous.

If you like that one, how about this one I received back in April:
Dear Mr. XXXXXX:
Thank you for your e-mail to Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC.
We regret to inform you that Build Your Own will not be available for the
C63 and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
