I am so glad someone finally mentioned to the newbies that the seats are CLOTH without the Leather Pack. Also, the leather pack comes with 8-way power adjustable seats AND steering wheel (plus memory). Sure this adds a little weight to the car, but it is a BENZ. The car is so fast (stock) that I couldn't give a **** about the extra couple of pounds anyways.

What's the material on the door panel trim if one didn't order the leather package? Is it cloth also? Those seats could be MB tex/cloth instead of leather/cloth.

Now that its been over a year a so since this last post can anyone who has the cloth seats let us know how they are holding up. Was it worth saving the extra $$$. I know the amg leather package includes 6 way power seats and the memory package but i am just interested if the savings for the seats where worth it. Also if you were to order another c63 would you order it with cloth again?

That pic does look much better than I expected. If money is the issue, why not look for a used C63 with low miles and save $10k plus get all the options?? Just a thought.....

I wouldn't mind if it came in MB-Tex since it wears better and doesn't have cracking issues. My 1986 190e with MB-Tex looks like it did the day my dad brought it home in '86.

I am looking to build a 2010 car with limited slip only option. If I get a used one with limited slip it is in the p30 package which got mixed reviews. The only item I dont like are the brakes. They sqeak when there cold and they are very expensive to replace.

I know I can go with an after market lsd but I still want to be in warranty. I already talked to renntech since there is a local mercedes dealer that works with them, just not sure if I want to spend $3500 to have a renntech/mercedes warranty. I would rather spend $2000 from the factory for the lsd and opt out for the leather.

I have seen the black cloth/mb text in person and they look very nice, and not to mention they were very firm.
