Any advice on whether to get the Performance Package or not? I will probably never take the car to the track. That being said, I am used to the handling of an M3. Not sure if $3900 is worth it since it will never see a track but don't want a car that is too soft either.

uuhmm, either way the car wont be too soft....
BUT, if youre already getting the AMG, go all out
and from what i read, $3900 is an INCREDIBLE price for all you get
-suspension
-brakes
-mechanical LSD
-diff steering wheel
well worth it in my opinion

2009 C63 AMG Black on Black PP Package CF fully loaded
Does anyone know the clearence from the front end bumper to ground (if any) on a stock 2008 C63 to 2009 C63 PP package. The reason I ask is because I have a gargage which slopes down under my building. I was able to test drive and drive down a 2008 C300 with plenty of clearence and then I measured the front end of the C300 with a 2008 C63 which were almost identical (front end ground clearence), but I'm wondering if the PP package will bring the front end much lower? I hope not!

that being said, i think the pp is a needed option on the car
Also, i dont think the pp suspension lowers the car

Has anyone heard of pricing on the 19 in multi spoke wheels for the 2009
C63?
I seen the multi spoke on a Black CLK63 BS and looked great!

went for it as well. i drove a non pp car today, it was a shade softer than my e46 m3. i think the pp car will be pretty stiff, but hopefully not too much so. in any case, you need the limited slip

From all of the test drives I've viewed on YouTube, does anyone know if the PP was used on any of those cars? I did notice (Top Gear) multi spoke 19 in wheels on one video but I don't know if anyone has tested a C63 with the PP...

From the Top Gear video, the steering wheel has the perforated leather on the sides, not alcantara, therefore not PP (030) equipped.

Steel Gray 09' C63 AMG
the dealers should have pricing on the MY09' PP soon right? Several cars have Aug. build dates, so the info should be available in just a few weeks I would guess.![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)

19" multi spoke not available in north america, though i am currently dealing with mercedes canada, as i live in ottawa, to try and price the wheels and see if i can order them seperately or as aftermarket through them, he cost for the wheels are approx $1100.00 per not including rubber.

If youre worried about the body control, i dont think its an issue. the suspension without pp is very good, you dont have to worry about it being soft (i drive an e46 m3 for comparison).
that being said, i think the pp is a needed option on the car
Also, i dont think the pp suspension lowers the car

i did read it all.
everything is still speculation and it seems like performance packages in different countries may come with different things. also, other PP in other models came with different wheels. which is why i asked.
and the only thing about 19" mentioned was about some multispoke ones not available here. it did not seem like it pertained to the PP.
