Some valuable info I want to share, I got an eamil from Wayne and Travis of Powerchip 2 days ago stating that my C63 ECU has identical stock tune as an E63. That's pretty interesting consider MB states the C63 "only" produces 451bhp stock. Although it's very good news to us C63 owners/enthusiasts on this forum, but Wayne also said it's impossible to flash stock E63's tune onto any C63's ECU. On the other hand, my ECU was reflashed by Powerchip and I'm guessing the car is making around 500bhp @ the crank. Happy motoring.

Interesting to say the least. My 2007 E63 made 410 RWHP stock on a Dynojet. It made 412 RWHP on the same Dynojet with same atmospheric conditions with Powerchips $1900. tune. My C63 makes 380 RWHP stock, again on the same Dynojet, and does not feel as quick stock for stock as my E63 did. Other people posting here have verified that fact by running slower ET's and trap speeds in the 1/4 mile with their C63's vs what the E63 runs stock. If the E63 and C63 engines are truly internally identical, there is another 30+ RWHP left on the table somewhere and I feel a lot of it is in the tune. I know Vadim @ VRP is still waiting for a C63 to work with and I would trust his results. I know he works with Powerchip directly but I want to hear it from him personally here on the forum.
Did you dyno your C63 before sending out the PCM? Can you provide Dynojet results after the flash is installed so we can all have a 3rd party perspective? Thanks & hopefully you'll have great results.
Not yet, I'm trying to get a spot at a shop I used for dyno sessions, but because it's so close to Englishtown and it's in the middle of race seasons, that place is booked until July. I'm going to try my luck with couple others I'd used in the past.
