Now that benz is moving along with the SL65 Black Series, does anyone think there may be a chance that they will do a Black Series in the C63 Class?? Any rumors on this???

it is however known the the c63 is "like" a black series
as its design was based on the clk black


im taking aguess, but i assume that some time down the road, every benz model will have a black series variant

The reason I ask is that MB seems to expanding the Black Series Product Line down (or up) the line and I am hoping that they will do this to the C63. I guess the PP is the closest we will get to at this point. By the way, what kind of lease deal did you finally wring out of your stealership???

so far i have 2 cars on order, i left a deposit at 2 places

the leasing company still promises me $1,000 a month, 24 months

the MB dealer is $1200 or slightly higher for 3 years

so which ever delivers the goods, is who im going with i guess

Tell me how it's "like" a black series? Where is the weight reduction and the LSD? CF components? Lightweight wheels?

well in almost every review ive read or saw, they said this is the closet AMG to the black series

i belive ppl have said that its design was inspired by the BS

and like the BS, its the 1st benz that was designed from the ground up like the BS

you probably know more than me anyways, im just repeating what ive heard in lots of videos and reviews

i also belive on the benz website, they show photos of the BS and C63 together.....

i dunno maybe im buggin'



i also remember i few reporters said they prefer the C to the CLK

atleast CF, and LSD are options

A lot of reviewers are referring to the raw experience and relative size of the C63 compared to the Black Series, which I definitely see. However the car wasn't as "ground up" redesigned as the BS under any circumstances. Yes suspension geometry was heavily revised and the track was widened, but you need only look at the narrow rear tires to know it's not comparable to a BS in reality. And I was referring to CF body panels, not interior options. I do see where they would have confused it.

cylinder....this is what i read some places

that all AMG benzes where basically the regular class body, with an AMG engine, and slight mods

i read some places that the BS, and the C63 where designed more in depth than any previous AMG

i always thought even on older AMG, that everything was AMG, not just the engine

what makes the BS and C63 different than other AMG models?
